Dayton 2005 Attendance Increased!

John Flanagan - 2005-06-12 03:00 - (14319 Reads)
FM38 was well represented at the 2005 Dayton Hamfest (author included). The weather was great and everyone had a good time!

N9DII brought to my attention that according to an ARRL article posted June 10, Dayton Hamvention attendance was up by 542 over last year. The article cited a total attendance of 20,411 as compared to 19,869 in 2004. This is rather surprising given all the talk about the declining number of licensed amateur radio stations.

W9WK Repeater on 146.67 will be moving to 147.165 +

John Flanagan - 2005-02-22 21:46 - (15190 Reads)
The Milwaukee/Waukesha ARES repeater frequency will change from 146.67 Mhz to 147.165 Mhz. This repeater frequency change is expected to occur on the weekend of March 5th and 6th 2005. The repeater's tone will remain the same 127.3 Hz CTCSS.

There may be a period of time that the system may be partially reprogrammed due to site access issues, and during this transition time the system may have other than usual receive coverage, so your patience is requested.
